Wondering if there is any rubbing issues
They should fit with no issue, I'm on cut springs and I'm running 205/40/17's.
50 series on a 16 is pretty big, at stock height you should be fine. its a little bigger than 24" diameter, just under 23" of the stock size.
and just for redrocket.. a 205/40r17 is 23.45"
205 / .5 x 2 = 205 (height of both side walls)
205 / 25.4 = 8.07086614 "
8.07 + 16 (rim diameter) = 24.07"
although height and width do vary greatly by manufacturer, a specific tire might be 23.5"
I have 205/55/16's on my rear and with passengers in the back on bumpy roads they rub pretty bad but with no weight back there there fine.
p.s There Hankooks about 4 yrs old now. super wide
Yes they should be fine but dont know about the 50r. Just installed 205/40r17, more pics to come.
Here is the pic I promised 205/50/16 No rubbing issue at all.
Looks nice!
