      Exclamation ABS Fuse missing

my car does have abs equipped
I do not have any warning lights, or issues in the ecu for the abs system.

I was going through my fuses today and I noticed that my abs fuse is non existent in the engine compartment its a semi larger 60A fuse about 1/2" by 1/2", i never checked it when I bought the car.

So since the fuse is gone and no warning lights are being displayed is that cause for attention, or can i just not have a fuse in it?

Are you sure the car has abs? My guess is that you do not.

Either the car does not have abs, or someone pulled the fuse because there was a problem or they didn't want abs.

Do you see any sign of the rest of the system?

hmm well, it has a fuse area with wiring soldered to the fuse terminal in the engine compartment, the abs light turns on when i initially turn on the ignition but goes away after about 3 seconds or so. when im going about 120ish km/hr and slam on my breaks to answer my phone (delivery driver on backroad highways) i don't skid, my car kind of pulses or vibrates / slows down to a stop.

so I imagine I do, but I'm unaware if the fuse has been bypassed somewhere (and the repercussions of that) or if the fuse is removed and the breaks are not operating the way that they are supposed to act.

Take a pic of the fusebox...

also, are you sure its not your TPMS light when you start up the car? That should come on on startup, not the ABS light

      what year is this aveo?
