I don't suppose you could spray the contact points with something waterproof that would stop the squeak? Silicone spray?

thats a good suggestion, MetroMPG i might just test out something like that in the spring. on a longer-term update for folks, the airbags are working fine and the squeaking sound they made when they were 'squeaky clean' is now a lot less, but still there. my buddy had airbags installed on his cargo van and it was amazing how fast he could 'dial in the height' when it was loaded heavy. thats what gave me the idea of installing them on the Aveo - easy, and simple install too.
