This is the kind of kit I'd be into and would actually consider purchasing. Even if I rallyXed or had a fully prepped rally aveo I don't think I could justify dropping the dough on a wilwood conversion kit. It's just not needed for the aveo.Quote:

Isn't Garrett going to have a kit or partial kit for that actually? For the lanos anyway. It's my understanding they're slightly different.Quote:

This isn't to say, that if I had the money to burn, I wouldn't invest in the "biggest and best" I could put in the car... however without a full sponsorship, it's out of the question.
I suppose my application is very different than what most of you will be using them for, though.
**UPDATE**
I talked with Sam from R1 Concepts about those rear "discs" and he said "Whoops, that's a typo!", those are supposed to be drums, not disks.
But as far as getting a rear disc conversion setup, Yes, I think Garret (gse_turbo) has the right idea by converting to the Saturn discs, even though the conversion will be different from the Lanos kit he currently offers. I see that as being the most cost effective and usable situation for most Aveo owners.
I can't see the brakes getting hurt in an accident before you would, even with a partial roll cage.Quote:
