OMFG i hate them for not selling those things here!!!!!!!!11!!one
they have coilovers over seas too....i forget what company it is but they do....but most of the performance parts are from a company called summit and are old news...y? because for the reason mentioned above, way too expensive to get here
I installed a set of coilovers into my ride. If you guys are interested. I can shipped a few sets over. Its 32 steps adjustable for shock hardness or softness. Its ride height adjustable and spring preload adjustable. Both front and back can be adjusted. Comes with anti roll bar linkage for the front as well.
All you need to do is to skim the front lower arm by abt 1mm to fit in the coilover. I would say they are the best suspension setup ever for aveo. If you only install those lowering spring from Apex, H&R, Vogland, the original shock is too soft. If you installed koni shocks, they are hardness adjustable but not height and preload adjustable.
Each set should cost abt $1.4k US plus shipping.

If anyone does order those, the should do it as a group buy so yall save on shipping... just a thought.
This is the ride height while using APEX lowering spring with stock absorber.
Now it is even lower with the new coil over which is height adjustable. Can adjust until whole wheels sit into the arches. But I maintain a finger height for front and rear for comfort. I will post picture next few days.
The spring preload at each height can be adjustable and the shock hardness is adjustable in 32 steps.

man i wish i had $1400 sitting around...id hop on these quick, i would be able to suspension-whore my car. track beast ftmfw!!
thats a really nice set up. i wish i had an extra $1400.00 laying around.
1400$ just the cost of the parts, then you have to pay to have it shipped from whereever xiaogary is from. expect to pay at least 1600$ to get them here. Then if you cant install them yourself...
Its a very nice setup, and Im not trying to cut down xiaogarys post but I have heard you can modify some civic suspenson parts to fit the Aveo. Not sure on which ones tho. (Dont quote me on the last statement)
The shipping cost is $220US from the quote I got from the speedpost service from Singapore Postal Office. I think I should be able to make it $1600US shipped or even cheaper if I managed to squeeze the suspension into a 20Kg standard size Speed Parcel box. Anyone interested can email me at xiaogary@singnet.com.sg
man this is a nice set-up, and i wish i had the $1600 layin around so i could have a sweet suspension.
sounds legit.....personal loan ftw?
there would be some major customs on that too.
The Koni's shocks (not coilovers) that RDY sell are damper adjustable, but not for height. I got those in my ride together with H&R springs. Very good roadholding and understeer is drastically reduced.
Current exchange rate makes them about US740 before shipping and customs.
