That sux cause my rear brakes seized up last summer when it was parked for a while, it made a nice thump sound when they free'd up while moving the car. I have to take them appart to see what's wrong, hopefully it's just the pads or a spring that came loose.

I might buy one if the price is right and its fairly simple enough to do the conversion.

I'm going to have to fix my rear brakes in the meantime, there is still some snow left here, should be able to start working on my car in about 3-4 weeks.

      well

I can't find any of the following of those 500 celcius brake pads or the VTTR calipers in the states I have sent countless quotes and no one sends anything back. If anyone knows of any place let me know or xiaogary if u can get them in and I can pay u and u send them let me know!

The same thing happened to me..TWICE.. i took it apart to see what's wrong but i didn,t find anything..my mechanic says that its the brake shoe..if you don't give time for the brakes to cool after a rigorous drive then it will seize...that's the reason why i'm so keen to do the rear disk brake conversion coz i drive on mountain passes =) and its really killin the brakes...dang
