My '08 eats tires too. I have the 185/55r15 tire, and the summer/all season tires tend to last 25,000 - 50,000 kms, yet my snow tires last easily twice as long even running them through the summer. My theory is that the all season compound is very soft as the size is considered more of a sports car than econo-box tire. My current snow tires are entering their third winter having never been off the car since installation. My last all seasons lasted one (short) Alberta summer.

Does that mean you never rotated them? If they are snow tires, I can understand that there would be no point in rotating them. However, snow tires are meant to be removed in summer. And all tires should be rotated over time, to even out wear.
