Thats probably the best way to do it.. I bought the bearing tool for $37.00 so I can change them out myself in my garage.
Looking back, I would have bought the right ball joint removal tool and then just brought the spindle(s) to a shop.
I have a new blog started on what the job looks like.. it's not finished yet. I got my timken bearing at Autozone and it was a bit cheaper than that.
