Wanting to purchase these wheels of a seller which is like a 2hour drive from where i live. So to save on the disappointment when i get there i wanted to know if anyone on the forum has this rim on their aveo and if it would clear the brakes without spacers. Thanks

The should fit OVER the caliper just fine. I'm pretty sure that 13's would fit even. However, The offset seems a little low so you MAY need to run a spacer. But Rabbit knows a bit more about the offsets on an Aveo than I do. I know they'd fit a 4 bolt VW just fine. LOL, probably what they can off of.
Unfortunately offset has little to do with clearing the carrier. Its the spoke design that matters. I would imagine (knowing what the backside of those look like) you might end up needing a spacer, or you could just shave the carrier.
with that low of an offset with that little lip (looks like 1" lips) there should be enough hub on the back to clear though, if they had a 2-3" lip they would have a flatter back side and more clearance issue.

Thanks for the reply petrified.rabbit. The rims are actually in australia where im from and yeh found out a friend of mine have the same set so i tried them on my car and yeh it hits the calipers :(. Dont wanna run spacers so i guess i gotta start searching for another set.
Are his the same spec'ed centers? If they are not, then though could potentially still fit.
I had a set very similar that i bought for a honda, they would not have worked on my aveo unfortunately. Already sold them.
the centre fits as they were previously off a civic. Too bad about the brakes :( really like the meshie style rims.
