vw spacers just use longer bolts, and are cheaper, and you would only need 2.

Good news and bad news. The mock up is ready.
However it is 1/2" and although we are still working on a final design it looks like it will also require a drop added so the bolt patterns do not interfere. This might be good for you to run mk2 rear struts because you'll be lower without bottoming out the strut. That means a better ride.
but I think it will definitely squash interest. ( I for one don't know if I could not raise my coils up enough to account for a drop plate)
thoughts?

How much lower are we talkin?
For the coilover guys theres a guy on one of the vw forums that makes camber plates if fitment is an issue.
Still working on how much of a drop, I am going for as little as possible. He's initial thought was to make it like one of his drop plates in 2.5 -3.5" range of drop.. I think with a few design changes I can get it down to about 1/2-3/4". But he has the measurements and the pieces at this time. Not me.
so it stands at 1/2" drop, and it is a 1/2" thick plate as well. still need to measure the "offset" difference.
Any Pics ?
Just the cad drawings, which i am not allowed to share.
arrived today..
