Brakes

My brakes have been squelling ever since i got my Aveo a few weeks ago. I know it isnt the brake pads(or atleast it shouldnt be) because the dealer said it had new brake pads on it. Just wondering if there is a way to fix it?

Clean the rotors and pads with brake cleaner.

And scuff the pads after you clean them

I had to put ceramic pads on my 2007,to get rid of the squelling.

You could put Permatex brake quiet on the backs of the pads. It comes in a spary on or a brush on packet. Also make sure you put brake lube on all the moving brake parts and surfaces.
