Cantilever rear suspension

Has this been considered by those of you with welding experience yet?

After looking at what a couple of the honda guys have come up with, this seems like an excellent and fairly simple layout allowing a lot of flexibility with overall set up.

i thought it was sweet looking on the fit....i don't know enough about suspension to know what the advantage to such a system would be.

the advantage is that this design would open up more options for the aveo's suspension

thats absolutly brilliant ithe stupid semi independent torsion they stuck us with is the same as the old golf i must have 9,000,000 pictures of my car on three wheels this would be the perfect low cost fix who here knows how to do this?
