      coil spring install....

okay so my h&Rs are coming in the mail so i started doing some calling around for prices to install them. Im getting prices in the $320-$350 range.

How much was your install for those who had a shop do it?

also is a front end alignment necessary?

I installed my H&R's by myself, and didn't need an alignment

what kind of shop did it for that price? Like a reputable shop or just like a small garage?

      Like everywhere is EXPENSIVE.

My brother said to go to this hillbilly guy that is probably like 30 minutes from my house... he has a shop called "Hillbillys" and he's just a hillbilly guy that works on cars. He got suspension work done there before along with other things. my brother and his friend went there a few times and they both said hes hillbilly but he does a good job.

Well it wasnt a big commerical shop, but it was a garage that someone else recommended to me and he always had cars being worked on there

Yeah I saw that, And it really doesnt look hard at all (I bet I could do it)... but im not sure if i want to do it (Know what I mean?). I would have to rent a spring compressor, that would be like $45ish, and You recommended air tools which I dont have. So, if i can get someone to do it for like $100-$200 [VERY TOPS] i'd pay them to do it, just so i wouldnt have to.

So was it like a regular muffler/spring/alignment shop that are around towns, or was it like a guys backyard shop?

Well you will probably see uneven tire wear then.

It was a shop that did a little bit of everything
