i think your gonna have slight uneven tire wear no matter wat even if you get an alignment....to bad you do live in jersey, otherwise id tell you to come over and do it at my house. its so easy
Yeah it doesnt look that hard.... i dont know why places are saying like $320....
My dad is gonna ask a coworker if he can do it or know anyone that will for cheap. he builds his own race cars and stuff so hopefully.
There has to be someone local who can do it for you. Check some local car message boards. I do spring installs quite frequently for $100. I mostly do Subarus which take twice as long as an Aveo. If you were in Vegas, I'd do it for $75.
yeah im definityly still looking. The springs are scheduled to be here on the 5th according to Fedex
autozone does loaner tools for a deposit, I'm sure you could get one from them.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.
I found a place that said it will be between $120-and $150 for the install, and $60 for the alignment. Maybe If I show them Khan4rtist's how-to they'll cut it down to $120 haha (probably not though). That probably is as good as I'm going to get, and I dont think that price is too horrible. So i'm going there bright and early on saturday.
hopefully they do a good job.
well, it really isn't rocket science.
yeah its true, but I just dont want to deal with it. I dont have that much time. I have a full time job, full time school, and a girlfriend. enough said haha
but yeah I'm going to the shop to get them installed tomorrow at 8am.
Got them in, and it is a much sportier ride. I love them. I'll post pics up mid to late week. by friday though.
gotta clean the car up for the meet!
