I just did my Eibach Pro kit tonite. 20 minute install, on the lift to off the lift. Easiest car i have EVER done. Took about 5 minutes for rears, and about 15 for fronts. If you need any help, or are in the columbus ohio area i can do them for you.

Didn't know Eibach had springs for the Aveo. Where did you get them?Originally Posted by kirko

Hi all,
Just got my eibach springs this week and a friend is going to help me install them. I was just wondering if there is a step by step anywhere, or if there was anything I had to look out for when I do this.
Thanks
Kris
I couln't find one, but I thought there was...seriously, I know I saw one. I did one for the rear shocks, but as far as the front, I used this as a guide...
FIRST OPEN THE SITE http://chevy.mrmax.dp.ua/EN/documents/K ... kalos.html
then click in this order...service manual, suspension, maintenance and repair, on-vehicle repair, strut assembly (then scroll through and you can see what you need to remove and what you don't.
Make sure you have a spring compressor, either the bench stand type or borrow the clamp style from the auto parts store.
Good luck. Where do you live? If you are close enough, I'll help you.
Heres my write up.Originally Posted by aveofrog77

khans write up saved me around 300$. follow it to a "T."
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.
thanks for the link, it worked great. I got them installed, the car looks awesome, but more importantly The corners feel great. I just installed an air intake recently and now this, I guess i got to figure out what next.
thanks for the advise,
Kris
