Thats strange, your supposed to use a mk2 front, but the mk1 would only require more grinding. The hole spacing from mk1 to mk2 is the same. Because if you wanted super low in a mk2, or big brakes on a mk1, you used to do about the same thing as installing the coilovers on an aveo to get the spindle to fit. I wonder if rokkor is having a quality issue in the stamping? I have rokkors on mine and the holes matched right up, as well as other brands other people have used.

I originally went with an entire MK1 kit because I didn't want to really lower the car as much as weight support and better handling for all the weight I have. I noticed that It would take a lot more grinding on my spindle. Once you grind down the raised surfaces you still have 1/16 you have to take off on both sides (a good amount of grinding). But once I finished grinding I put one bolt on and went to do the second and said "son of a b*****"

One coil over was about 1/8 off and the other was about 1/4. So it could be manufacturing I suppose. I am going to leave the bottom hold completely untouched (Because it is perfect diameter for matching bolts) and I am going to grind the top hole which is oblong anyway to allow the bolt to fit. The good news is the provided washers gave me enough filling to put my stock struts back on temporarily while I find a resolution.

Really stiff but thats what i was after. i have 18 in rims and wanted to get as low as could. so i went with looks and performance over ride quality.

Wow, finally got RSKs installed on my aveo! Endlink kit is awesome Rabbit! The back is very bouncy, but I'm sure much of that is because I have no backseat. I may try to crank the back perches up since they are bottomed, and put more of a load on the spring and its helper. Waiting for my 15 mm spacers to come in so that I can remove the helper, and get the back down where I want it and still have spring clearance with the rear tire.
