They can be tricky to get to sometimes, But there is definitely a bulb in there. I haven't had the aveo dash apart, but my last car had a bunch of them y things in a cluster, I'm glad I didn't have to pull them as they were also inside a housing to keep the light only showing for the sensor they were meant too.
