I replaced my rear shocks and upper mounts. its not that difficult. I purchased the parts from rockauto. I purchased the

MONROE 5794 OESpectrum Passenger Car (rear)

strut mount rear.
KYB SM5452
Rear Upper

no way for $750. it's not too tough at all. it's easier than the front, easier than a brake rebuild, and many others things. I would say difficulty wise it is in between changing brake pads and an oil change.
