Hey everyone,
I've been a member on the forum for quite awhile, but, haven't been posting much in the last year or so.
I have a 2007 Pontiac Wave Wi and acquired a set of H&R lowering springs in 2009 off ebay for a good price. I didn't get a chance to install them before winter hit that year, and, as the winter went on, I got discouraged because we tend to get a lot of snow here in Saskatchewan and I wasn't sure that having decreased ground clearance would be a good idea. Add in the fact that our highways and roadways are taking a turn for the worse with cracking and heaving due to extreme temperature shifts and moisture. If some of you saw my "for sale" post on the old forum, these were the reasons I was trying to sell the springs. I haven't had much luck so the springs are still sitting in my basement.
I love the low stance that the lowering springs give the Wave/Aveo and part of me still wants them on my car, so, I guess I'm looking for some insight on how these springs are actually going to handle the crappy roads around here. I'm curently running the stock 15" alloy wheels and don't plan to change to low-profile tires at all.
Any advice or info would be appreciated.
Thanks!
