Im planning on getting some rims soon. Some Enkei RPF1's in bronze 15x7 +35 if youre curious. Has anyone ever used the Gorilla Guard Wheel Locks? Please post your experience with them. They seem pretty legit, a free spinning outer sleeve defeats the old hammer and socket. Has anyone had their wheels stolen even with these on?
at the toyota dealership I work at, about once a month, once every other month or so, we do a 3" lift kit with 20" wheels, we use gorilla lugs, in the 3 years our dealership has been using the gorilla lugs, we have never had any problems outside of customers losing the key and getting mad at us because we dont have extra keys
I had the dumb Chevy/Buick technician leave my key sitting under the hood once. I almost drove it away but had to go back to find it. He was like oops I left it under the hood. Not sure why he put it there in the first place.
Just make sure you put the gorilla sticker with your key code somewhere in your car in case you have to order a new one. I stuck mine on the base inside the glove box.
All I will say if someone wants them bad enough they will get them.. I had locks on some 20's back in the day and that didn't stop the crooks.
they are just delay tactics to hope someone will pick easier wheels..

Not my McGards the lock lug has no sides and the pins on the gator socket there are too big to fit. :). Its the best i can do but like everyone has said nothing will stop someone if they want them bad enough.
