Has anybody removed the rear trailing arm

      Let's start with a picture:

This is the trailing arm (it's got an other name and I forget it). This is were the bushing go and it attaches to the frame. Well I need to removed the entire assembly.

The bolts to the frame are 14mm and the pivot bolt and nut are 17mm. Well I assure you they are not going going and just plain stuck.

I can move the 14mm bolts about three rotations and then they become hell. I can't budge the bushing bolts what so ever. Any ideas or suggestions? I need to get this off so I can put on a less warped version. Should I put the impact wench on the 14mm and just let it rip?

It took a combination of the breaker arm and my impact wench. You just need to take your time. With the 2.5 foot hardcore breaker arm it took a lot strength just to twist the bolt. With my impact wench, I don't really have enough air to keep the pressure up.

Here is an other picture showing the detail. You can see the blue dust from the bolts.

So it's hard to get out the bolts. Well considering you do not ever want these bolts to back out, no wonder they are glued in the car. Duh!

Did you take off the whole rear axle to replace the bushings? I need mine replaced. It sounds like this is the easiest option. Thanks for the pics.
