the rear brakes on the exige are bigger because it is rwd. Its design also has a hub with an axle through it. SO it would be too much rear stopping power for the aveo. You would need to machine the current hub down much like xiogary did, and the slip on the rotor, as well as make a custom bracket to hold the caliper. I am not entirely sure how the ebrake on the exige works either.
It would potentially be a good choice for a larger front break swap depending on the hat offset etc.
