I would like to raise mine up an inch or two. Has it been done? Any help out there? I have on 08 hatchback.

it has not been done to my knowledge. I know it has been discussed. It would not be too hard to do, but why do you want to do it?
I ask because a short wheel based car with this tall of a profile is lifted would become squirrelly on the highway. heck even the stock height makes highway driving feel funny.
My recommendation is to build a lift plate for the rear stub axles, google "vw caddy drop plates" you want to build the opposite. You will then want a spacer for below the strut mount. between the mount and the spring. I imagine nut first to hold the spring down (i can't remember if it had a nut first). Then a collar washer. I would probably upgrade to VR6 upper mounts as the same time. You will need to extend the sway bar, maybe. You will need an alignment, definitely. I would even suggest dropping the K frame lower with hockey puck spacers, but that might require redesigning your dog bone mount.
Gotta raise it sky high to fit those 24" rims homeslice
I would mostly like to raise it for in the snow, maybe try to get some bigger tires under it.
how much snow are you looking to get? we have had over a foot, and I just plowed my neighborhood.
There's actually decent clearance on Aveos, compared to other cars in its class. I really think you'd be better off with a slightly taller winter tire.
It sucks having the lowest car on the block. I can't imagine being dropped on coilovers...ur plow reference made me laugh
Without any built in camber adjustments up front, raising the car is going to cause alignment problems fast.
I finally got around to doing this. It was really pretty easy. This is the car stock.
First I changed to 185/75/14 tires all a round. That alone worked out well. They would rub just a bit at full lock. It rode nicer and raised it about 1 1/4".
Then I installed some
spacers on the springs along with the new style front strut mounts up front. So
it's a good 2 or 2 1/2 inches higher now.

Any plans to continue the " mudder" look?? I'd like to see how tuff an aveo could look
