Re: Honda Wheels on an Aveo?
the honda and aveo have to same bolt pattern, but the honda hub center bore is 56.1 and the aveo is 56.6, so you can do it, if you sand the opening a .5mm, which is not much, i did my hub rings in like 5 mines (but they are aluminum)

Thanks for the info. Has anyone done this with a set of Honda alloys, and maybe any photos?
Re: Honda Wheels on an Aveo?
Well, I tried to test fit the Civic SI wheels to the Aveo, and as expected, the center bore of the SI wheels is too small. I'll bust out the Dremel this weekend and see if I can make them fit. If so, I'll post up somc pics in case anybody's interested down the line...
Re: Honda Wheels on an Aveo?
But are these rims hub-centric as well?
If you dont grind perfect, you might end up with a wheel that doesnt feel balanced no matter what you do. But I suppose at .05 It's doable without much of an issue.
Re: Honda Wheels on an Aveo?
Acorn lugnuts self-center. If you are concerned about it, torque the wheels off the ground.
Re: Honda Wheels on an Aveo?
as soon as the wheel fits your good, the lugs will center it also, and lots of test fits to be sure not to take too much.
i personally would use a cylinder hone.
or if you are concerned, you can always take it to a machine shop and have them opened up..
