I removed the battery box, supported the tranny underneath, and then just removed the motor (tranny) mount bolt. Not very much work.

Does anyone one know what type of bolts that are on the control arm?
(I'm assuming it's grade 8 of course... but Length? Diameter? Threads / thread count / thread pitch? Metric?)
I'm running into the same problem, going to cut them out but need replacement bolts first. I have the capabilities of making my own, or buying them without spending $10 a bolt... just can't find any information online to help me out..
Sorry, I didn't bother getting the specs for the bolts because I simply found replacements in a U-pull. I hope for your sake that the front (horizontal) bolts can be removed without cutting. If so, that bolt will provide the specs for the rear, because they are identical.
The best way is to lift the engine. Best point i think is the rear engine mount. I changed 2 arms last week and had a lot of problems with the left one. First bold got stripped and had to cut the frame and change the nut. Bolt is M12 with 1.25 thread. Hardness better be 10.9 or upper
