      How low should I go?

I'm thinking the next purchase for my suspension on my 2008 should be some lowering springs. I was looking at some of the options and I'm a little stuck.

Using THROWDOWN PERFORMANCE, EBC Brakes | P2R | BC Racing | Techna-Fit | Unorthodox Racing | Megan Racing my options are

the eibach pro-kit for a 1.3" front and 1" rear lowering

or the H&R sport springs for a 1.5" front and 1.4" rear lowering.

I also plan on updating the shocks at some point but Haven't decided between coilovers or just upgraded. so that's not important right now.

What I need to figure out is how low is too low. I live in a very hilly area with some roads that aren't in the greatest shape, but there are not a lot of extreme level changes or high/low spots in the roads. Can I get away with the H&R low, or should I stick to the Eibach kit? Ideas and experiences please

I will think of a better signature later.

either should do a 1/4 inch drop isn't much unless your already lower than stock. I personally am on Eibachs but the drop is hardly noticed. the stiffer spring-rates however provide better handling.

Ok I'm on my phone but here this goes.

Aveoswagg: its not 1/4 inch drop it is 1.4(one and 4 tenths) inches I don't know if that's what you meant, but there is more than an inch difference. Any drop will be an improvement over stock.

Rabbit, this is my daily driver and only car, plus I want 16" rims someday. And my roads are not that nice lol. I also don't want to get hung up on intersections like you have mentioned doing in another thread I believe. But you do have me leaning toward h&r a bit more lol.

Just picked up the car, new Kings Springs, about 25-30mm lower. A much easier car to drive! No more sloppy corners!

      Exact measurements:
      RHR: 546mm
      LHR: 548mm
      LHF: 550mm
      RHF: 552mm
all fall within a range of 25-30mm lower than the showroom cars.
