does anybody have these rims cuz i was thinking about picking some up myself and getting them powdercoated white. and was wondering if they fit our aveos nicely.
they are 14 x 5.5
45 offset

hondas typically have a 56.1mm hub bore. those wheels should fit fine..
oh really thats awesome. i think i'm going to go ahead and test fit these this weekend just to be sure =)
i really like how these look. they remind me of gt3's. i think they would be pretty sweet
just to know...whats our hub size???
56.1
haha =)
thanks man
so i picked up the wheels this weekend and they look so good =)
but they don't exactly fit =(
i need about a 5mm, maybe a little bit more of a spacer up front to clear the caliper. and i need the centers machined just a little bit to fit more snugly. other than that they should be pretty bomb as soon as i get them on.
- so as soon as i can get this done i'll get them powdercoated probably white, maybe bronze and then i'll have myself a new set of fly kicks haha
post pics when done, i love HX and VX rimsQuote:

to the original poster: machined for a more snug fit? what do you mean?
and you can find spacers cheap on vwvortex..
like i need the center bored out to be a bit larger cuz it doesn't quite fit over our hubs perfectly.
and yes i am pretty excited to get these wheels on and will definitely get some pics when i get everything worked out =)
maybe the depth of the hub is different?
the bore should be the same?
just one example. i have a master list on my home computer:
http://www.roadkillcustoms.com/hot-rods ... readMM=100
unfortunately, offset, and caliper sizes for interference with spokes and such isnt calculated.
well they do kinda fit but its really close. like the back won't completely fit around the hub and there is a small couple of mm gap. same for the front too and the fact that it hits the caliper =/
i will get these wheels on though =) just give me some time
dang that hurt my eyes
haha nice find though =)
wow, i guess i should measure mine instead of going off what the internet says.
i think it would be sick to run 13" VX rims in the winter and they are like 9 lb
PS if i end up geting EG hatch for track beater, 13" vx is what it will roll on
ive been meaning to test fit my friends 13x9 wheels. but with the 45 series tires, i would have to lower it to the frame to close some of the gap..
hey guys if i ran a 15 mm spacer i would need some extended bolts right???
i think thats what i am going to end up doing though. like a 15mm spacer up front and probably the same in the back....so it would be a 30 offset. do you think i'll end up rubbing??
This link won't last long, but I think these would look good.

I will be going a different direction.
ya definitely i like those =)
i was also thinking about getting ls meshies off an integra, but i found the hx ones so i'm happy =)
Off topic but a couple other cars I have found wheels off of that I have considered.
New Mini
E30 BMW and VW BBS stuff
Mazda
RX-7 BBS
There are quite a few new options from Honda for the Integra.
here are pics of the aveo with the hx wheels after boring out the hub size adding extended studes and adding 15mm spacers all around.
