congrats. I'm holding out for some SPT's myself. It's looking like next week as I have an extra paycheck coming
yeah i had to get something quick while i had the money, my tires are balding so bad that i cant go over 45mph when it's raining because i'll start hydroplaning. And the wife and I are going to michigan at the beginning of august
Well I would have reccomended you getting the Ecsta ASX's, they are rated AA all around, and feel fantastic.
"If I parked a T-72 tank in my back yard, aimed the cannon towards Mexico, and muttered something
about protecting my village from an invasion, the police would show up and probably haul me away."

Comparing the results of the 3 different tires, the SPT's seem to be a better all around tire. More grip, better wear characteristics but unfortunately a little more money. I expect to get 2 years out of them which is hopefully longer than I'll have the Aveo so it's worth it.
a friend of mine has the SPT's and they are wearing faster than my ecsta 711's which are much cheaper. I had the AST's on before my 711's, I do like the ASX's better than the 711's but they wear horribly un-even.
The 711s and AST's are great tires, I recommend the 711s over the latter though. But I also have another set for the track so grip isn't my biggest concern for the street tires.
