Lowered 2008 Aveo Shock Problem

Hi, my names allen. I have a 2008 CHevy Aveo LT 4 door. I had to do a full suspension redo new shocks struts and springs. I bought 2 inch lowering springs all around. Installed everything. The kit I bought was sold by am-autoparts on ebay. the fronts, that i did first cause i needed more parts for the rear. Now the rear ones I just put in broke and the top of the strut broke through my fender wall. My mechanic said only solution is to lift it back up but upon browsing ebay different I found rear shocks from monro that look completely different and say they work for my car as well and Im wondering if I somehow got the wrong shots.

I know it says aveo 5 but when i check part compatability it comes up with my car too. Please any thoughts or opinions. I would hate to lift it back up again.
