Lowering my Sedan...
I was wondering what the best option and most pocket friendly option for lowering my car was. I'm not too concerned about racing performance because I rarely drive the car over 70mph or 20 miles from my house. I'm mainly going for looks. Any suggestions?

Lowering springs, or get rabbit's coilovers. Springs would be your best option for what you want though. Might as well get new struts/shocks while you are at it if you have a ton of miles to make the ride better as well.

Awesome. Will I still be cool even though I don't have an HB? lol

Idk, I will have to think about it :D

haha good stuff. I am working to see if I can get the MK1's to work. I just messaged rabbit, I will see what he says :P
Brad, Rabbit uses the Rokkor VW coilovers, they are under 500 for a whole set - which is pretty remarkable and are definitely sweet looking.
-
What model car are they made for? The golf?
-
From what I am aware it can fit on a couple models with slight mod other than the golf, but I have never owned a VW :P But yes they are made for the golf, and rabbit has a kit to get them to work. But I think he uses the MK1 kit on the rear and mk2/3 on the front

oh ok. it's starting to sound a little too technical for my likings. I prefer to pull it out of the box and it just fit. haha
-
Haha well then your best bet will end up being the lowering springs. All the other suspension mods will take some.... well added work lol

Touche'.... lol Thanks for the advice though. If I had the money and know-how, I would definitely go that router.
