hey there is any one running rims with offset of 45, i know we need 40-38, but how deep do 45 rims look, any pics. im asking becouse i might be geting 15x6 rims with 45 offset of a vw. they were a canada dealer option and only 500 sets were made.

but if you do get them what were you going to do to clean them up? powder coat them?
I dont care for the rims just cause I dont think they flow with the car, but its your car soooo. They just looks like a fancy steelie. But they are rare rims it seems so thats a plus.
If they look like the one in the pic, I hope they are giving them to you then you shouldn't care what the offset is...
Then you can just throw them away if you don't like the look because the dealer didn't want to.
im not thinking that 45's are going to work. thats a pretty big stretch over the 38-40 that we need....but if they are free...or very little. and if you like them...its nothing that you cant take a look at trying.
if you like the wheels then just get a .25" spacer and you will be fine
