      Painting drums and calipers

Has anyone found a paint that will hold up and not flake and rust in a year?

I'd like to paint them, but don't want to have to repeat every year.

This might sound like a stupid question but does painting your calipers affect performance in any way? Does anyone know if it can have an affect on your factory warranty?

no its just paint. even if you get a lil on the rotor, it will burn off as soon as u hit the brakes for the first time. and unless your a violent painter and break something, it wont void your warranty.
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

Actually..I forgot to let everyone know what paint I used..LOL

I used the G-2 caliper paint kit. Easy to use, looks great. I think I bought it from tire rack...don't remember...

but it comes off in a year?

The paint is going to fade over time from the heat so a freshening is always suggested...

I'll probably touch them up when I swap my wheels and tires for the summer set.
