Thanks for the info. I just thought it funny that no one mentioned this after doing these repairs. I would have liked to known this before I started. Now everyone knows.....
I started to undo the bracket and the bolts felt like they were going to snap off. Didn't need that...

This thread reminded me that screwing the bolt back in when it starts to get tight while loosening is a good way to prevent broken bolts. It took two or three "out than back ins" to remove most of the bracket bolts on my 08.Originally Posted by bitter-fitter
