Rear brakes question

So I'm pretty handy all that, and probably could figure this out, but in the attempt to make things easy and not brake anything, I'll ask the question:

I went to check the rear brakes on my wife's aveo (2004 or 2005....) and the drum seems to be attached with a nut, and is not "loose" or "free" to pull off like every other vehicle I've ever seen. Am I right that I need to remove the nut then the drum will come off? Thanks for any help...the car has about 110,000 miles and original brakes(rears have never been checked).

yeah. you just punch out the dimple and unthread it.
