The pads might have been a little cheaper if you went with the SGD1035C . S stand for service grade, there a little bit softer then the PG stand for professional grade, a little harder and wear out the rotors faster but they might work with your driving habits. I use SGD1035C right now. Oh C at the end stand for Ceramic.ordered these brake pads....

They don't come with shims....do I need new ones? Can I get them at the dealer for a reasonable price?
for shocks I all always like Monroe. So I just put on shocks and struts by Monroe So I will see how there are.
If old shims are in good shape re-use them.
