      Rim size

Guys im looking at this rim - 15" Evo Enzo 4/100 & 4/114 Alloy Wheels - 15 and 14 inch Alloy Wheels - Wheel & Tyre

      it says :
      15" Evo Enzo Alloy Wheels
      - 4/100 & 4/114 multi-pcd
      - sold as a set of 4, excluding tyres

What tyres would i have to get for it?

Im also concerned about the on board computer, will changing the rims to these but keeping the same tire diameter make any changes. Will it make the car perform worse and will it also make the computer think that the car is traveling a shorter distance?

What you need is a tire size calculator. Tire Size Calculator - tire & wheel plus sizing

I like using this one as you put in your OEM tire and start comparing from there. It gives you the percentage from the original tire.

the oem tire size for an aveo with 15s is 195 15 so it shouldn't mess with the computer at all because all your doing is adding an inch on the wheels and subtracting an inch from the tires copared to the 14 in wheels and 185 60 14 tires. width has nothing to do with the computer

My OEM size is 185/60R14. Now i need some help deciding, a 15" Rim with 205/45R15 tire or a 17" Rim with 205/40R17 tire?
The 15" will only be 2% out and the 17" will be 3.03% out. The 17" will look nicer but i really dont know.

But then again, the 15" is like +-$100 cheaper (R1000 in south africa).

I don't know what the roads are like down there here in Germany its a lot of cobblestone roads i wouldn't dream of taking 17s anywhere near these roads 15s look nice tires are fair priced there is a lot more 15s than 17s out there with out bolt pattern. But at the end of the day it comes to what YOU really want your buying them your installing them and your taking the risk of curb rash or bending the 17s then you just wasted your money.

I bought 16 and find the ride to be reasonable. I would go with 15s too if the roads were difficult.
