so ive been looking at a bunch of rims, and ive found these ones that i really like, so can anyone help me out and lemme know if they will work with my veo? they are xxr 8, 16 "

also im plannin on getting them powder coated white and pink. however i cant decide if i want the black to be the new white or pink. and the white to be the new white or pink. idk. i just gotta figure out if these will even fit on my car.
that wheel is available in 16x7 offset 42, in the 4x100 bolt pattern. so it will fit.
i would save additional money and buy all silver ones since you are painting both surfaces anyhow.

thats actually the site that i found the cheapest xxr 008 rims on. and they have the all silver ones for 5 dollars cheaper a rim. haha not that much but for all 4 its 20 bucks cheaper. and shipping was only 57 dollars. . i havent bought them yet, cause i wanna make sure i can find a place to do powder coating for a good price. but i think ima have to get them next pay check. im sooooo pumped for these rims.

I'd just look up powder coating on yellowpages.com for your area. Give the places a call and tell them what you want to do.
We have shops here that fix and restore rims, the one here in town is called the Rim Dr. I’d look for places like that.

Your boyfriend is on Vortex, have him ask someone in your area on the tex about local powdercoating...VW guys always know the best powdercoaters, because you don't take a set of mint*** BBS RS's to just anyone... 8)Quote:

either the set posted or get the black ones and paint the lip pink.. but i think the all pink with a polished lip even though bold would flow very well with a white car and some pink accents..

Boy, those are some VW Rabbit style wheels if I ever saw any. Very nice, I've owned a set of black and polished ones like those...sadly not too much VW following here in Fairbanks. There is in Anchorage though. I like the second set you posted, those are kinda cool...probably the wrong shade of pink though to match her badges. That could be fixed though.Quote:

and there were rota gt3 rims i liked and found someone sellin them on vortex, but only 15 inch. ugh
ohh yeah im diggin these rota gt3 rims the more and more i look at them.
Veo, I personally like the 2nd rims. It all depends on which one is a better match to the pink on your car though. You don't want it to clash.
Like I said, I prefer the 2nd ones. But...my taste in rims has a lot to do with what is easiest to keep clean. Lol. I don't like too many spokes.

those Rotas will look great, and will fit, if you pick the 4x100. The only thing i think with rotas, if i remember, Is you need a 5mm spacers to clear the brake caliper.

well pretty much this is my decision haha.well through some people i got a hold of a guy who is selling his pink roto track r rims that he has had for 4 months, with new tires on that are roughly 2 months old. . . . hes been trying to sell them for a few months , i knw your all gunna say no one will buy them cause they are pink. ha, but i want em. and i got him down to 400 dollars for all 4 with tires. . . . i dont think i can pass that by. . . so ima go check them out tomorrow and hopefully come home with them. . . . .
i just think they look even tighter actually lookin at them on that car. love it.
oh and they are 15" also, again someone , will these fit. i know they are 15x7.5 i believe and 4x100 bolt pattern so thats good. but is it gunna matter if my rims are 15x7 now?
WOW!!!!! $400 for 2-4 month old pink rims and TIRES! that is awesome. I wouldnt have been able to pass that up either. Wish I could stumble upon a deal like that! :)
Can't wait to see them on the car. I really think the pink and chrome is a good way to go. If the whites are completely the same it may have looked off. Hopefully the pinks will match.
I love the pink racing stripes and the bowtie looks awesome too. The rims will be icing on the cake!

They'll fit, but I think they are probably 15x7, not 15x7.5. Idk, maybe they are, but I had 17x7.5 on my car and they fit with no problems. They'll look good, Rota's are great rims and for 400 bucks you just can't beat it. Good luck.Quote:
