Are those stock size tires?

Yeah, stock tires and rims. I was thinking about getting 17s before the drop, now I am leaning to 15s with a low-ish profile tire or 16 with rubber bands.

i dont understand the shoe test. is that a new standard? like i have high top gap? i'm at loafer level, and slammed on sandals?

I think 17s are too big for our cars. 15s or 16s will look great IMHO. I myself will probably go with 16s as not to hurt my mpg's lol.

I am not the only one that did this!! I have to say, these struts and spring are a great combo! They are very well made and seem to be holding up after 2 weeks now. I only had time to do the front stuff and back springs but this weekend I will be doing the rear shocks and I dont see them giving up on me anytime soon, they are a very good pair and with them being aftermarket they do drop your car a little bit more! Car looks good! I would recommend this set up to anyone!

I just ordered my Sensen struts/shocks off eBay last night before going to bed, can't wait!

OK, how is the ride, I went to the coil over shocks and finding a bit too harsh on the ride. And I need to do something about the rear, it bounces and I think that's because the shock travel is greater than the design of the old spring.

OK, how is the ride, I went to the coil over shocks and finding a bit too harsh on the ride. And I need to do something about the rear, it bounces and I think that's because the shock travel is greater than the design of the old spring.

The ride on my car is significantly better than stock. The shocks and springs I removed had 48k miles on them. It is common knowledge that just about any non-stock suspension solution will result in a more harsh ride (coilovers being one of the worst). In the Aveo though most of the OE components are trash anyways and even a straight metal rod from the knuckle to the hood would ride better.

Did you take any pics of the rear so we can see how much gap there is if any on the rear tires?

The rear could definately use an extra 1/2" drop
