im not to sure but if thats the case then someone needs to do that...
and i dident even know there was a guy out there running on coilovers. thats bull man, but i guess any of us could do the same thing. i am going to start looking into what would fit our cars. i will try to find some coilovers that will bolt up or fit with minor modifications.

I still don't understand how a coilover would work for this car... considering the rear springs aren't seated on the shocks.

Someone in Ontario should check with fourstarmotor sports. They're the guys running the suzuki swift+ rally cars. They run a proflex setup (about $5,000CDN if I remember correctly).

Everyone says our cars don't get any attention... how's this for attention: http://fourstarmotorsports.com
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.

Well they do the Swift+ rally car. But they dont seem to offer any parts through their site, mainly its stuff for Subarus.

I just noticed they arent too far away from me at all. maybe I should stop by and see what they could do for my Wave.

They do all sorts of stuff from composite fabrication, seam welding, roll cages, graphics, ... nearly everything.

I did contact them a while back about the suspension. You should be able to get it either going through them, or through proflex.

Just keep in mind that the suspention is not at all designed for comfort and daily driving. It's a rally suspension. Designed to keep the tires on the ground and the underbody off it at all costs and be as durable as possible.

      Is this correct?
I figured I would upgrade my shocks while replacing the springs.

Can you elaborate why they are terrible? I ran them on my Subaru which saw track use, towed a trailer, AutoX, and RallyX. They were good for 80k. For about $350 I was able to replace them with another set of GR2's. I think KYB is a great replacement shock/strut, especially for the money.

Yeah I have used KYB's before in other projects and they are a good product...
