      springs for aveo

so what are my options for springs going to be for the aveo?

      h&r is 1.5/1.4 f/r

      apex is 30mm = 1.2" f/r

      intrax is 1.5 f/r

      eibach prokits are 1.3/1.0 f/r

      is that about it?

personally, i had h&r's on my matrix and i had problem/dislikes (the rear was higher than stock and the dead coils touched) but i did like their firmness

i have a buddy w/ intrax springs on his trix and theyre pretty comfy with a nice drop

apex i havent read anything bad yet from the aveo forums

and i currently use eibach prokits on my matrix and i love 'em (progressive rate so theyre slightly firmer than stock driving normally, but firm up the more you push 'em)

anyone have pics of their drop they can share?

to be real, the h&r's for the aveo are awsome, the rear sits a little higher then the front, but IMO best drop out there, aside from some apex with a few coils cut.

I have had no issues with my h&r's i have had them on for about 5k now, and love them, i hated the body roll stock, and the springs help that a lot. also ride is very smooth.

if you dont want h&r's i would suggest apex with a few coils cut. they dont drop it low enough.

h&r is the way to go....i think intrax lowering the car the same amount as h&r even tho they say its 1.5" all around.....h&r springs with 16x7's is the way to go

might try h&r's again....but im hesitent to give them my business....

i was thinkin about running 15's though....i like around 45% sidewall.....16's you dip into the 40's, which, in my experience, can get a bit rough

Get some nice 15" lightweight wheels with some 215/45R15....would look wicked and perform great too!
I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.
