+1 for the H&R's.

fwiw, here are the pics from my h&r experience....
stock
h&r's (supposed to be 1.3 front 1.2 rear - - actually about +1/2" in the rear)
eibach prokits (1.2" f/r)
god that looks so sexy...wish i wasnt retarded and got 16's instead of 17'sOriginally Posted by thebarber
barber looks like you got a defective ass pair of h&r's. i had a defective pair of springs when i lowerd my scion xb back in the day, on the real the drop on that matrix is horrible. you should have called the company and had them ship out some diffrent springs. anyways, im sure someone will post a pic of the rear for you, if not then i will try to take a flic when i get home. there is a lot of dead coils.
oh yeah and i have to give blade some love, when i seen his car on cardomain i was in love. made me obses over the orange color. nice ride man
ya....we sent pics of the springs vs stock springs and eibach springs to h&r.....all the pics we had.....to try to work it out.....
they said that we must have installed them incorrectly, etc.....my friend that installed them is a licensed toyota mechanic....they were put in correctly....
thats what i get for being the first on matrixowners.com to get h&r's.....needless to say, no one else has ever bought h&r's....
but i digress...
the h&r drop on the aveo is tried and true (vs when i did it to my matrix) so i cant argue w/ the dozen others who have 'em w/o a problem....
i just wanna see how all the drops look on an aveo....we might as well have 'em all in one spot, no?
well if you do a search there is a post about all the drops. i dont know if it was transferd from the old site. but in my opinion h&r's is the way to go. some cats have had them on for seval thousand miles with no problems. i have had mine on for 5k with no allignment, and still no issues. good luck with buying your springs
I finally got some, two in stock and going on ebay as an auction style. For me to even make them worth my time they have to be more than the other springs on the market, but I'll put them as low as I can and hopfully they'll take a couple bids. Plus shipping with them offsets my shipping costs for my other apex springsOriginally Posted by Audacity Racing
