I also asked about the weird sound I hear coming from the rear of my car. I notice the sound when I'm slowing down, it sounds like a clicking sound(almost like when you put baseball cards on your bicycle wheels with a clothespin).
Would this sound be the suspension, brakes or something with the wheels?
When I come to a full stop the sound's not there?
I can't say that it is there when I accelerate from a full stop.
I went to the agency today in order to check for the updates the the ECM, they said there were none available. Do you think there is a difference between going to a Pontiac and a Chevy Dealer?
In theory there shouldn't be any difference...but if you own an Aveo, the Pontiac guys aren't going to be enthusiastic about it. But if the Pontiac dealership is all you got (doubt so, says you from Calgary). Then their service should be good.Originally Posted by norm
Personally, in Timmins Ontario, my dad always got bad service from the Chevy guys. He needs parts for the company truck (silverado) and van (venture). Well now he doesn't call the chevy dealer for parts, he call the Pontiac/GMC dealer, tells them he has a GMC Sierra or a Pontiac Montana, just because the service is excellent there. I too have excellent service at my Pontiac Dealership here in Moncton. They are in the top four GM Dealerships in Atlantic Canada for sales and service and it shows.
I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.
I am finding that my suspension was extremely squeaky when going over bumps or even around turning some street corners.
Dealer did some tightening of something, but issues remains over bumps
its just the crappy stock struts and shocks
Well , if the stock shocks make this much noise, the dealer better be ponying up for some upgrades.
I have never had a car that made this kind of noise in the suspension, and that includes an old VW beetle I bought out of a guys field for $50 and put onto the road
there isnt an upgrade tho or we all would have it
Got this from KYB's parts catalog.
KYB part number for Rear shocks: 343423

yeah thats what i mentioned in the last page......i dont think front struts will ever be announced...lol
SO let me get this straight....
I install the H&R springs (all of your posts have been very informative, thanks to everyone that does that). I can also put in the rear KYB shocks at the same time to improve ride height and ride quality? Are these really decent shocks or just replacing the OEM shocks?
Anybody done this?
