      Steelies....

Does anyone know the weight of the stock 14" steelies?
I want to compare weights of the steelies to possible new rims, just shopping around.

I dont tihnk I want anything heavier...

Another question... Do you guys dont think 2 pounds per wheel would be too much? Like would you be able to notice a difference in acceleration, or is it gonna be real close?

17.6lb, and with tire its 33.6lb
Its more fun to drive a slow car fast, rather than drive a fast car slow!

it shouldnt be too much of a difference, but some 17" rims are lighter than the stock steel wheels, the konig heliums and feathers are only like 16 pounds per wheel.

      Falken Hanabi 15X7 are 11lbs
      rota slipstreams 15X7 are13lbs The 16s are 15lbs.
      Kosei K1 15X7 are 13.5lbs
      Flikk Bang 15X7 are 14
All are at or around $100 per. And you would be surprised how much power you can gain out of lighter wheel/tire combo. 5-6lbs savings at each corner should be a noticeable difference. And in these cars, they need all the help they can get

consider the weight of tires also, the biger they are and the lower profile the heavier

yeah i wanted some 16s cause they'll be lighter and they'll be more of a comfortable ride than 17s
