Storm Lowering Springs. Any ideas on these?

Hey guys, so i was on ebay and i just came across some new lowering springs for our aveos called Storm Lowering Springs. Any ideas on this? Are they good quality? Which aveo models will they fit? I noticed some of the ebay posts mention only the latest generation aveo (the sonic/aveo) and other posts mention that it will fit all the way back to 2006. Please help I would love to have these.

Have a look at all four of these links:

could be good, the thing i think you need to worry about more than "will the spring fit?" or "will the spring break?" would be "what is the spring rate?" I don't see that listed. And it might be too high, or not high enough for the new height...

You mean, to achieve the 2 inch drop my car might not have enough weight to depress the springs?

No i mean that after you put them on, the spring rate might be too low allowing the car to bottom out, and rubs (low spring rate allows more suspension travel). OR the rate will be so high you will ride around like a brick on a roller skate, unbearably bouncy, harsh over bumps etc.

If you can find out the spring rates then make the decision. H&R, eibach, and the better companies have always listed the rates for a standard rate spring, but the also make progressive rate springs which increase rate as the compress.

Which would you say is a better spring. Eibach or H&R. Can you give me some pros and cons?

I ran h&r because i cam from a VW background, (more european car owners prefer h&r over eibach). Eibach seems to be a perfectly fine spring, and tends to be more common / popular among asian market car owners. BOTH are proven companies.

I can't remember the specs of either off hand, but imho i would go for the one you can find cheapest. MOSTLY if the price difference is significant enough to matter. I loved my h&r's, but wanted to go lower.
