That definately will not fit. The Lanos has a standard upper strut setup with three bolts holding it to the body. The aveo has more of a floating type setup similar to a VW. Notice the three bolt holes on that bar you linked to? Now pop the hood of your aveo and you will notice it lacks the three corrosponding holes.
The Lanos and Aveo have a completely different suspension setup. Sway bar is totally different. The rear torsion beam is different, the Lanos even has a rear sway bar type thing (its called something else and does not look like a swaybar). The only thing swappable is the rear shocks.
They said they had a different bar for the Aveo. The bar pictured was not it.
for the price it is up to you, it might work or be able to be adapted to work.
a note for the other guy though, those mounting holes require drilling and using bolt and nuts through the top of the strut tower. no way around that. but even the bar in the pictures "looks" like the pattern is open enough to sit far enough out on the strut tower that where would cause no interference. my recommendation, even though it is uglier, is to put the bolts in through the bottom. it will look like studs in the engine compartment but leave more clearance and help avoid possible rubbing issues with the springs.
theres two holes there on the aveo and thats what I used to mount my custom bar....no need really for the third
