Stuck parking brake

Remove the rear drums and shoes. Clean and lube the parking brake arm very well. It is on the rear shoe. Operate the parking brake while watching the cable at the rear brakes to verify that the cable itself is not binding/siezing. Loosen the parking brake adjuster nut at the parking brake handle. Reinstall rear brake hardware and properly adjust and lube the rear brakes. Reinstall the drum. Reset the parking brake tension using the nut at the parking brake handle.
