Terrible grinding noise 06 Aveo

My son's 06 Aveo has a terrible grinding noise that is constant. It seems to be coming from the front of the car. I have changed the drivers wheel bearing with no change. I pulled the passenger yesterday and seems to be ok (spins freely, with no noise).

I was was thinking CV joints, but after watching many YouTube videos, the noise isn't the same as a CV joint problem. Is the noise from a CV joint ever just a constant grinding?

Any ideas on what is happening?
