I've had them before so I can tell you a lil something about them. I've had them in 24", and 20" sizes personally. My friends have also purchased them before. My personal experience with Sunny tires have been good. Tread wear has always been great, road sound is there but not deafening, performance was great for the price! The 20" I had were replaceing Michelin's and they performed same if not better than them!! You could understand how aurprised and ticked i was cause the Michelin's were $320 a tire and the sunny's were $90!!

i feel very strongly about supporting the cheap tire market. for the same reason you posted, In your case, if your $90 tire lasts 20k instead of 30k, And you buy another one, that means your still ahead. And as far as traction, handling and road noise, they are typically as well performers but slightly noisier due to the lower tread wear #.

My wife's audi came with expensive tires, and after the first change (my wife agreed to at dealer for @ $1200 with only 12k on the first set, and bald for the last 2k.) i bought another "name brand" set for $600 at 26k only to have them last until 34k, So i went and spent $280 on triangle talons, and they lasted until i sold the car.

I've always run a summer tire and a snow tire typically the two sets are lest than the oem all seasons and perform better (when they are supposed too). Most recently i put my wifes van on 18" rims with some serious performance tires (255/45r1 and her summers on the oem rims and it cost a total of $800.
