      Tire sizes?

      Hi, New to the site.

I have a 2009 Aveo5 and I found someone selling a set of rims with tires. They are 205/45 ZR17 and i have no idea if they will work or cause any problems. Any ideas?

The tire size is larger than the OEM tire by 3.5%. This means your speedometer and odometer will not read correctly after going to this new tire. To some this is a big deal, to others it isn't. I think you're probably okay with a 205 as far as rubbing as long as the offset on your wheel is good. I don't know what a good offset is for the Aveo, so you'll have to search the forum.

By the way, welcome to the site!
