      Typical front suspension clunking..

My Aveo, like many other's I read about, has some minor clunking in the front suspension when going over bumpy surfaces, at parking lot speeds.

Has anyone found the source of the problem.

Has anyone who's disassembled the front stuts found what's up?

i think it is either the floating strut mounts (on top) or the control arm bushings (against the K frame).

but it could be something else. either way the parts are less the $30 each, if you can do it yourself.

Thanks man, did that stop the clunking?

Mines been doing this since new, I could have had the dealership change them out if I was still under warranty.

Yes it did.. but now I need to do the other side. I tried finding a Polyurethane replacement, but it's too small for a link bushing which is what it would need. If someone else wants to try, here are the specs.

      The bolt is 12mm
Outer Diameter is between 26 and 26mm
I didn't measure the outer most diameter, shouldn't really matter though
Width I don't remember off the top of my head... probably about 30-32mm
